Victorian Style Decorating



One of the most visually stunning style of decorating can be classified as a Victorian. This style comes from the period known as the Victorian era, which was named after Queen Victoria's reign from 1837 to 1901. This period also coincided with the industrial revolution in late 1800s to the early 1900's. It was an exciting time for cultural, artistic, political, scientific and technological change and progress. 


Victorian style lighting consists of production design, and includes everything from candles, oil lamps, gas and electric lights.
